I lost sleep last night just thinking about the logistics of centaurs’ anatomy. Not the part you’re thinking about, get your mind out if the gutter.
Do they have 2 hearts, 4 lungs? Surely they only need a single digestive track but which part of them is the stomach in? Is the upper body literally just bones and muscles and all the essential organs are in the horse part? I’m uncomfortable just thinking of how that would work.
As cool as the whole owl thing is, you must admit that it sounded pretty silly at first that they’re relying on a system of flying things around in a time where email and FedEx exist.
But now, with the rise of companies looking into drone delivery I sort of feel like the wizards beat us to the punch on the future of door-to-door delivery services.
It really makes you wonder which of their other seemingly backwards practices are actually the next wave of the muggle future. Probably not the part where they still use quills.
Because no gifset could do Terry’s monologue justice.
This may be the most important 3.5 minutes of television in years.
This episode needs multiple awards, and so does Terry Crews for his delivery.
this episode had me in tears. how long have we been praying for things like this to be represented in a nuanced way? the conversation BETWEEN BLACK FOLKS, acknowledging generational differences in viewpoints, acknowledging that racial profiling and police brutality affects young black girls, addressing how police departments stifle progress through internal intimidation tactics, addressing the respectability politics and victim blaming that happens when black folks are targeted by police… for a half hour comedy B99 did a much better job of addressing police racism and brutality with this episode than any other tv show i’ve seen in recent years
